Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a popular American following her win on American Idol's debut season. This win catapulted Clarkson into the spotlight and secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. In the years since her debut her album, she's released several albums. Three of those albums reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to the top spot. They consider her to be one of the many of the most popular American Idol artists. She was a bit flimsy as she found popularity with diverse musical and theme styles, often writing songs of her own. For her uniqueness and vocal prowess, she received praise from the public as well as various awards. One of her most memorable achievements is that she won three Grammy Awards. Aside from her career in music, she's also appeared on television and film. River Rose and the Magical Lullaby is a children's story written by her. Additionally, she has been involved in charitable work and different organizations.
