Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967, in Atlanta. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer who was also one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father had keen interest from a young age in the stage. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in diverse productions, both on and off campus. After joining the airforce, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. In 1955, the couple got married and in 1956 their child Eric Anthony was born. Walter attended Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. The family relocated in 1960 from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working with Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. They also created a six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later in the year. They had two more children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know as Julie).
