tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born on January 24 1979) is an American actress and singer best famous for her role as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air from 1990 to 1996. Tyana Jones was her TV One character, was her first TV show. She also played the role of Roxanne in the CBS soap drama The Young and the Restless. When she was just six years old, Ali started her acting career by appearing regularly on the PBS children's educational program Sesame Street. The show featured an appearance by jazz legend Herbie Hancock, who demonstrated his Fairlight CMI synthesizer using a sample of Ali's voice. Star Search featured her on two episodes.
